- Melt the chocolate and spread on a lined swiss roll tin.
- Leave it to cool.
- Beat margarine and sugar until creamy, add the beaten egg.
- Mix in the oatmeal, walnuts, cherries and sultanas.
- Spread evenly over the chocolate and bake in a pre-heated oven at
150°C/300°F/Gas 2 for 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool and then cut into slices.
