Rye is the new kid on the block

We are delighted to unveil the latest addition to the Odlums family…Rye Wholemeal Flour. Rye (secale cereale) is a member of the wheat family and is related to barley. Rye is a cereal grain, which can be eaten whole or rolled. It is regarded as an ancient grain and has been cultivated since the Middle Ages. Rye contains gluten, however it naturally contains lower levels than wheat, so some wheat sufferers can tolerate Rye. Our Rye Flour is high in fibre and makes delicious Rye Bread.
