Here at Odlums, we are proud to be milling and packing flour in Ireland for over 170 years. Originally established in Portlaoise by the Odlum family in 1845, Odlums has been an integral part of Irish baking and cooking for generations.
Today, we are proud to be able to continue to produce premium baking ingredients for home bakers and novice cooks the length and breadth of the country. Our distinctive cream packaging and famous Odlums Owl logo are instantly recognisable. In fact, the owl is actually part of the Odlum family crest.

We’ve come a long way since 1845. Our range now includes over 120 products produced at our Portarlington milling facility including the fast growing Organic, Spelt, Gluten Free, and Bake Your Own ranges, while also introducing new packaging solutions, such as the resealable tub range, all in response to our consumers’ needs.
Our very own Catherine Leyden is Odlums' Brand Ambassador and Home Baking expert. Catherine has been providing consumers with simple, easy to follow recipes for over 40 years and has helped to make home baking a fun and enjoyable task for all ages.
In 2015, we invested over €1million in our Odlums mill in Portarlington, Co Laois for major upgrades to our manufacturing facilities to ensure we continue to bring you the very best quality ingredients for your bakes.
Our story began back in 1845 when the Odlums family started milling the finest quality wheat in their first flour mill in Portlaoise, and we have been milling Ireland’s best loved flour and baking mixes ever since.
