What you need:

Muffins

  • 1 x Odlums Muffin Shaker
  • 130ml of water
  • 100ml of vegetable oil
  • 6 muffin tray, lined with 6 paper cases

Frosting

  • 300g butter softened
  • 200g icing sugar
  • Orange food colouring.

To decorate.

  • Halloween cupcake decorations

How to:

  • Pre-heat oven to 200°C / Fan 180°C / 400°F / Gas Mark 6.

 

  • Remove the cap and add water to the first fill line on this pack.

 

  • Add oil to the second fill line on this pack and replace the cap.

 

  • Turn the bottle upside down and bang the bottom of the bottle until all the dry mix has dislodged.

 

  • Shake the bottle for 1 minute or until thick and the mix has fully dissolved.

 

  • Pour into 9 lined bun cases or 6 for bigger cakes.

 

  • Place the tray onto the middle shelf of the oven and bake for 20 minutes.

 

  • Once baked, remove from the oven, and leave to cool on a wire tray.

 

  • Make the frosting by beating the butter, icing sugar and a small drop of the orange food colour together until nicely combined.

 

  • Place icing into a piping bag with a nozzle and pipe on top of the muffins once they are cooled.

 

  • Decorate with cupcake decorations of your choice and then enjoy.
